The SPC Vinyl flooring material is made by mixing limestone with PVC and stabilizers. This creates an exceptionally dense and strong core for the SPC flooring.

SPC flooring has been developed as an upgraded version of engineered vinyl flooring. SPC flooring is set apart from other types of vinyl flooring by its uniquely resilient core layer, which makes it sturdy and very durable.

6mm SPC Floor Structure

Each plank of SPC vinyl flooring is constructed with the following layers:

  • Wear layer- A transparent layer at the top that resists scratches and stains. It is also responsible for protection against discoloration and makes cleaning easy.
  • Vinyl layer- It decorates the SPC Vinyl flooring plank. Colors and patterns are printed onto the vinyl.
  • SPC Core- A dense, waterproof core for the plank made of natural limestone powder, polyvinyl chloride, and stabilizers. It provides rigidity and stability for the plank.
  • Pre-attached under pad: An underlayer material made from IXPE or EVA foam responsible for sound insulation, cushioning, etc.
